Krishnanagar, Aug. 14: Dilip Pul 56, a clay model artisan in Krishnanagar has made this fibre-glass model of Pranab Mukherjee. An ardent fan of the President of India, Pul, a resident of Krishnanagar Anandamoyeetala, wants to present this piece of art to him personally.

However, so far he has not been able to contact him to express his desire. Pul said: “I never felt any interest in politics in my life, but have always admirer of PranabBabu. I have been watching his activities closely since long. I am a great fan of his prudence, his acumen and his role in National politics. As a Bengali, I felt immensely proud on the day when he became the President of our country. But, I feel sad for not ever having an opportunity so far to talk to him to express my respect for him. Now I have decided to contact his office through his official portal. I have told my class XII son to help me to mail him soon so that I can express my respect to him and inform him about my wish to meet him only to hand over this token of love and respect at any place of convenience. I will also request him to do something for this dying clay art of Krishnanagar”.
