Biman Rules Out Joining Hands With Congress

Kalyani, June 20: Senior CPI (M) leader and party's politburo member Biman Bose on Saturday literally ruled out possibility of joining hands with Congress before the assembly poll as indicated by party colleague Goutam Deb. Bose, instead advocated strongly for a 'bigger' left alliance consisting of left parties who are not constituents of the Left front.

He said: "Aaj ei brihattoro baam oikyer prostuti newa darkar ja manush biswas korey"

Replying to the queries of the media person on party colleague Goutam Deb's comment, Bpse said: "I can only say about the tactical line adopted by the party in last party Congress. The issue is quite clear and needs no further clarification. I never comment on what other political leaders say. So it would be better to ask who made such statements,"

Bose also advised party activists to read the booklet which party published on adopted party lines after the last party Congress.

"Spend just rupees five to to clear all confusion", Bose said.

Bose was speaking at the condolence meeting of demised NADIA dist party Secretariat member subodh ganguly in Kalyani on Saturday evening.

Earlier during his speech he advocated for " greater left alliance " including the left parties which are not part of left front.

he said: " sabai bam fronter sainik na hote paren kintu prati baam daler dwaittyo achey ei baam oikya garar". Bose wa happy to see that Left parties like Suci, pds, cpi ml liberation, who are not lf constituents had participated in the condolence meeting.
